At the end of every trip, I wind up with a few photos from one place and a few from another. None are worth a blog post on their own, but I’d like you to see them.

The hike up Peralta Canyon is a bit over two miles each way. When you reach the rim, you’ll have climbed about 1300 feet. Most would consider this a moderate hike. But when the temperature is 85f (30c) it becomes a greater challenge.
We went to the Desert Botanical Garden because the cacti are blooming, but got waylaid by an orchid exhibit.
