The Story So Far

The Story So Far

We set out from Bainbridge Island for a month or so of cruising in the “near north” – the San Juan and Gulf Islands. I haven’t taken a lot of photos until today when I went crazy shooting flowers. Let me catch you up.

Mary Anne tries to strangle herself as we head up Saratoga Passage.
Floating potties in Oak Harbor on Whidby Island. Note their name.
Anacortes fast food humor.
Heading northwest towards Sucia Island.
Sunset in Fossil Bay on Sucia Island.
Our new friend “Spot” on the dock at Sidney, BC.
Arrival at Genoa Bay, BC (say “Gen-oh-ah”). That’s our friend Michelle on the right. She’s travelling with us to Yellow Point Lodge.
The Genoa Bay fake heron.
One of the marina’s neighbors owns this Ural motorcycle, built in Kazakhstan.
There used to be a well-kept house by the marina. The nice owner once invited us to wander in her beautiful garden. Both she and her home are gone now. Bits of decoration remain.
