It’s a measure of how much we like Garrison Bay on San Juan Island that we would visit at the height of the season. Actually, it was better than expected.
We spend four days every June at Yellow Point Lodge on Vancouver Island. Been doing this since the year 2000. Except this year because we were dashing north to the Broughtons.
We visit Viner Sound on our penultimate day in the Broughtons. We’ve seen bears here on a previous visit. Spoiler alert: no bears.
We love Turnbull Cove. It has everything: scenery, landslides, hiking, old mining stuff, swimming, and frogs.
