Who Can I Blame?

Who Can I Blame?

Ick! Spare a thought for the folks in Eastern Washington and elsewhere who have lost their homes to fire.

It seems like dull summer skies and hazy sunsets are the new normal. Who can be blamed? Who can we threaten because we don’t like it? I know, let’s slap tariffs on someone. Looks like it’ll be Spokane.

In the mean time, I’ve been stalking flowers in our front yard.

Beautiful flowers, Steve! What a garden you must have. That flower with the bee, especially if it has whitish-green foliage is a “Rose Campion” which also comes in white.

There is a literary detective with that name . . . who I hear always wears those in his button-hole!

Wikipedia: “Gentleman sleuth Albert Campion and his manservant Magersfontein Lugg solve mysteries.” Thanks for the reminder of what flowers look like without the smog blur!

Love, MEB
