Treetops

We visited Westcoast Treetop Walk and Cafe just outside of Hokitika to take a walk amongst the trees. Mary Anne and I had done something similar in Rotorua a few years ago and found it interesting. We were not disappointed.

The visit begins with a short uphill walk to the start of the aerial walkway.
There’s a flying fox (zip line) ride available at extra cost.
A “diving board” bit of the pathway. A little bouncy.

  1. That “Flying Fox” was wearing MAB’s clothes!! Could it be . . . ??
If it were wearing an Oregon Repertory Singers dress, I could be sure . . .
I loved the “diving board” –so few opportunities for bounce these days.
I’m still researching tree-houses, and the trees that love them! Love, MEB
