The dog and creatures you will see along the Hanmer Heritage Forest Amble have been sculptured by Andrew Lyons, of Christchurch.
Andrew has used the natural colours and grains from a Redwood tree which once grew outside the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa.
