Cosanti Slices

Cosanti Slices

You may remember my previous post about Arcosanti, Paolo Soleri’s utopian vision for urban living. Cosanti, near Phoenix, was his home.

Paolo is gone now, but Cosanti lives on, supporting itself through the production and sale of art, mostly Solari-inspired wind chimes.

We visited today with friends Mike and Wendy, who are visiting from Eugene.

I know I don’t comment (ever), but I want you to know how much I enjoy your blog. The photos from your boat are so relaxing. Your photos in Arizona supply an endless list of places to visit. You two go to far more places than we do living here year round. Thank you.

Thanks for these comments, Arlene. It was so good to see you this week!

I think you both may have missed your calling. You find the most interesting places that I, for one, have never heard of before now.

So musical, yet so primitive! I love musical instruments powered by the wind!

And apparently powered by the sun, as well! Love, MEB
