Sullivan Bay

Sullivan Bay

Sullivan Bay is another favorite. After a spell in the wilderness, it’s a treat to socialize with other boaters, stock up on groceries, and have one of the famous Friday night dinners. This year we got a bonus, BBQ on the dock to celebrate the Fourth of July. They only do BBQ twice in a season. The other is on Canada Day.

Nothing is on land here, including the one hole golf course.

There are some private floating homes mixed with marina buildings.
One shot, no putts.
This is how the whole place is held together: buildings on log floats tied together with cable and line.

Is their sewage treatment plant floating?

Alison Shaw

I wonder how many thousands of balls are down in that water?!

Darrell

First, I am impressed that you have seemingly had nothing but fine weather for your entire journey. How do you do that? Looks like a fun place.

I remember that place from a former year, I think! Am I right?
I may be hallucinating, but when I saw the Laundry-Library, I thought I was home!
I suppose croquet is out-of-the-question . . . floating wickets, whiffle balls, plastic mallets . . .
Is there a badminton court?
My birdies arrived today! Love, MEB
