i love the Phoenix Art Museum because there are new exhibits on every visit. This time, our goal was to see the work of the fashion designer Geoffrey Beene. This was of more interest to Mary Anne than me. I wandered about, snapping photos of various things that caught my eye.

Two of the many works by Geoffrey Beene. They were not all this clownish.

Not a Beene fan?

A dark room, lined with mirrors, and hung with color-changing lights. Entertaining? For sure. Art? Not so sure.

A Calder mobile (a term he coined).

A Monet, painted at his home in Giverny, and a poster by Toulouse-Latrec.
